Personal Philosophy

For my personal philosophy I believe in certain values, beliefs and goals in order to live a fulfilling, happy and virtuous life.

In my life are friends, family and love the most important things. I think you can just have a happy and nice life, when you have friends that you can trust and have fun with. I don’t think that you need just friends, who you can tell everything, some friends are ‘just’ there to have fun with and be happy when you are with them. In addition to this you need a family that is there for you. The family is supposed to be the point, which never leaves you alone. The family gives you security and love.

Additionally people should learn to help other people. It really makes you happy to see the people you help laughing. I think every single person can make the world a better place. With just helping other people and live a way that makes the world better for example don’t throw like every food away just thing about the poor people in for example Africa.

I think that people should hold good values. Every person should be accepted by everyone in the way they are. No matter if they are beautiful, rich, old, young, ugly or poor. Every person in the world is here, to have the chance to have a nice and lovely life. They shouldn’t be oppressed or unhappy. Every single person is beautiful in a different way. Some people look beautiful some have a very good character. And all the people together are like a big mosaic every person is one mosaic stone, with its own shape and color, which shows the difference of each character. You can learn from everybody. If you are nice to them they will be nice to you.  

I think that every person goes his own way. It is like a street that shows you the most important things in your life, which you will/should always follow.

Besides freedom, hope and peace are very important. When you are sad you should always be strong and thing about this. I believe that you can always hold on something to find love and trust. As long as you believe in hope and peace you will always find a way to deal with your problems.

Moreover everyone should do what he wants to do, not what other people want him or her to do. Because you are you and you live only ones. You are only happy when you do whatever you want to do. It is your life only yours, but also you should think about the things you do, because you can always hurt someone, but you should do the things that make you happy. Because when you are not happy you cannot live a good and fulfilling life. And also you should live in the moment you can look back into the past, but you can never change what happened. So let the bad things go and forget about them. The life goes on, and as long you go on the life will be colorful and happy. Just never forget to smile.

Artist Statement

My Collage should show different things, which are important in my life. I put a symbol of friendship in the middle of my collage; this should show that friends are one of the most important things in my life. In the top right corner of my collage is a picture of an airplane and under it is a sunset with a happy person in it. It means that I love to travel and it makes me happy to be at the beach with a sunset. Right next to it is a face, where the right part is white and the left part is black. On the face are different peoples’ faces with open books on their heads. This should show that you can learn from everybody, no matter if they are black, white, old, young, ugly or beautiful. Everybody has the same book because they all should have the same rights. Next to it are the Olympic Rings, they also show that everyone has the same rights and is equal.

In the left bottom corner is a smile face, this just shows that you should always try to smile and be happy. Next to it is a rose, a heart and a four-leaf clover page. This symbol stands for luck in your life and love. Right next to it is a street with different values, which are very important when you want to have a good and fulfilling life you should follow this values. At the end of the street is a sun with the word love in it. This shows that, when you try to love and accept everybody they will accept you too. In the right bottom corner is a lonely woman, who looks at some symbols of hope, peace and liberty. That means, when you are sad or feel lonely you should always thing that someone is out there, who helps you. Hope is very important in everyone’s life. The world would not be a good place without hope and peace. Over this symbol are two footprints. They show different things. First it means that every person leaves footprints in life. You can see it as a whole picture. There are different people who leave footprints in your life, sometimes they cross yours, and sometimes they just walk the whole life next to you. And secondly the footprints show that you should always go on in your life. Between them are a peace symbol, a heart, and a smile face; this means Peace, Love and harmony should always be in your life. When something bad happens you should let it go. This accesses to the picture above it. The mirror shows a heavy and big problem in form of an elephant in your life. You should let it go and always go on. The colors and the notes around the mirror show that when you always go on everything will be happier, color fuller and “with music”. The mirror don’t means that you should never look back it more means that you should live in the now. You can always think about the past and get hope and power from it, but you should never live in the past. The little symbols on the left side of the collage like the tennis player and the skier should show that I like to do this thinks. They are part of my life. In the middle on the top of my collage is a shooting star; it means luck and that everything you wish will go into fulfillment. The world ball with the people all around, in the middle of the collage, shows that there should be peace and harmony all over the world. And when every person tries to help a little bit the world will be better.
