Anish Rishi Peace and Violence Collage

This collage represents peace and violence. Peace is freedom from disturbance and being quiet and tranquil. Violence has destroyed the way we live in this world, and has affected everyone. Violence nowadays is used as a solution to our problems. Fighting, and wars everywhere doesn’t solve problems but just leaves us with more wars and problems. For example, Gandhi once said that violence will just lead to more violence, which basically means that if you use violence to solve your problems, and then in return you will receive violence. So basically, I believe that if we lived in a world with just peace our problems would easily be solved, and with peace our problems won’t be so big. Also, I believe that if we live in a world of peace we will all be united and live together with peace and harmony, and being united will join us together with other countries.
In my collage everything on the right side represents peace and everything on the left side represents violence, and in the center is a person that is holding all the important aspects of peace. For example, in its hands its holding people holding hands around a heart, all of the religions in this world around a globe, and a watch showing that time is ticking. On the bottom of my collage I have a picture of two people sitting on top of a DNA with people standing on the bottom, which represents that we are technically related, and should all just be united and live together in peace and harmony. The right side just has symbols of peace and children living together in peace and happiness. The left side shows weapons, people rioting, people dying, and even animals dying. So basically, violence destroys the world and living in peace will help unite the world and will solve all of our problems.

  1. I like how the violence parts are blurred out, but it would look cooler if the good things stood out more and weren't also blurred.
