Eye sight is probably one of the five senses that you depend on the most. As we are learning empiricism in english, cultural history, science classes, I tried to portray the idea how people are defined by what they are surrounded, the kinds of experiences they have. I made the skin color to be blue to represent the natural state humans from the film Avartar. The pieces that compose the skin are very vague, trying to suggest the blankness of the beginning. I used pieces of article pages to fill the white part of the eye. Here, I tried to intimate the significance of education and reading that part in one's life. The pupil is composed with faces, and I tried to insinuate the knowledge and identification obtained through seeing things. Overall, it represents John Locke's idea, knowledge comes from experience.
