Art statement by Evelyn Liang
The
Self-Portrait was used 4 pictures, which represent my dreams and life.
Everything happens in our single day, something happy or something sad. We just
need to feel them but can’t stop the time going by. I would like to record my
life by painting and photography. I chose my own angle and feeling to paint and
take pictures and it’s seems boring. However, human likes memory, whatever
kinds of memory. The background is sunflower; I love it because of its optimism. No matter what it was suffered, it
would face to sun for a new day. I just want to be a person like the sunflower
with smile and confidence.
