Artist statement :
I choose this picture to show that as we get older we never loose our identity of our past. We never outgrow our childhood. We might get more mature on the way but on that journey you can't forget where you come from. Thats why I have East Hampton written on my pants. I did this to show that I know where I come from and wont forget it. I put my face as the sun to symbolize that I have gotten older but inside I am still a child. I also put myself in the bucket to symbolize that I am always watching myself grow up and become the better person and man that I am shaping out to be. In the picture I am seen at the beach where I loved to go when I was a child and still have that love of the ocean. As Christopher Reed said " Either you Decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go to the ocean".
